Hi Laurie. Yes it is a bit far out. I'm even further out. I will be on the Tahitian Princess in April 07. I see you must really enjor this ship. So I thought I would be the first on this thread to ask for your insights on this cruise. We are doing the Cook Islands intinerary. Any information would be much appreciated.

We booked the 1/26/07 cruise. We thought 1/6 was too close to Christmas for us.
I see you've been there before. Any words of wisdom for this cruise? We've been on this class of ship with Ren twice -- so we know the ship.

you will love this itinerary, especially if you like to snorkel/dive. the water is warm and clear, and the fish amazing. the islands are unspoiled and beautiful and the native people friendly. I would suggest that you buy the Tahiti guide book by Jan Prince. there is lots of helpful info, especially if you are going to do any pre or post cruise time in the islands. Marc's motu picnic on Huahine is not to be missed.

Thanks, I'll check on the book. We've booked this trip twice before and haven't made it to Tahiti yet. First we were booked on Ren when they went out of business. Then we were booked on the Pacific Princess from Tahiti to Sydney and have to cancel because of work. I hope the third time's the charm!

My husband and I did this cruise with Ren back in July of 2000 and loved it. We are booked to go this coming March but I think, sadly, we'll be having to postpone it.
I have been searching around to find "lowest" prices for cruises later in 2006 and into 2007. The sites that show prices show all of them the same and they are nothing like what I would expect for such future dates.
Short of getting quotes for a variety of dates, is there a recommended method/site to go search this? I don't want to waste an agent's time by having her do the work I can do ahead of time. Travelocity used to be good for this but they seem to have changed things around....Thanks.

It was one of the best excursions I have ever been on. In the review are pictures of me underwater so you can see what it was like.
