Okay I know I said probably would not be going back on Carnival for a while, but I can't wait until Nov to cruise again and I see a deal for 499 plus tax (547) on a 8 night Liberty sailing.

It appears that the 1A's avail 2202,2208 may be 2 of the ones with portholes. Anyone stayed in these staterooms before. WOuld be me and my daughter so not worried about bedding configuration.

Thanks

I personally visited 2462 and 2465 on the Liberty in January. Even though Carnival's own agents told me they are inside cabins with no porthole and with bunk beds, they are in fact outside cabins with two very large (i.e., 4x4) windows and the standard twin beds that convert to a king. They do not have a loveseat, but do have a chair and otherwise are very similar to the standard oceanview cabin on Carnival. We were so impressed that we booked 2465 for our next cruise. By the way, Carnival's rate for these cabins is the same as the inside guarantee rate; in other words, the least expensive on the ship. They are a bargain! Only downside might be engine noise and ship movement, but they don't bother us, so we're giving it a shot. Shhh.. don't let this secret get out!
