Easy questions....do you tender in for St Thomas or St Marteen?

We were supposed to tender in Grand Cayman and actually couldn't get in due to rough seas....ended up with an extra sea day :-( !!!

If they do tender, has anyone not been able to go to these islands due to rough seas?

Hi NolesFan.. :cheers Hurricane fan here.. :cheers You will dock at both ports provided there's room at the piers.. St Thomas can handle about 5 ships using both the cruise line pier and the commercial pier. St Maartin can handle 4. If more ships are in that day due to storms, cancelled ports, etc. the unscheduled ships may have to tender... it doesn't happen a lot, but it can at times.. Due to safety concerns, it's the Captains call =sailor as to whether or not it is safe for everyone concerned to tender, so you may have to miss that port if the weather is to bad... Bombero

The above website has a cruise schedule with what ships will be in each day in St Thomas. The far right column lists what dock they will be at or if they are in inner or outer anchorage. WICO is for the West Indian Company dock where most ships dock & CBNS is for the Crown Bay dock.
