Are Belize and Cancun the only tenders on this cruise? Also, How long does it take to get off if you do not have an organized tour planned?
Thanks for the info.

Which cruise? On the Sea, our only tenders were Belize and Cancun. We had an NCL excursion planned in Belize, so we were some of the first off. In Cancun, we were off the ship within about 1 hour of anchoring. Depending on what you have planned in Cancun, we thought it was a long, slow boat ride without much to see or do at the end. If you have something planned, it may be worth it.

Next time, unless I have a certain excursion planned, we will just stay on the ship and relax by the pool.

Sorry, We will be on the Sea Oct.2. I was also wondering if anyone can give me info on tours. We are looking at the Altun Ha tour in Belize. Will there be enough time to do some snorkeling after?
Thanks,
Kevin

We went on the Altun Ha tour in Belize (through NCL) and really enjoyed it. It's about a 1 hour ride from Belize City to the ruins and that included a small tour of the city. Our tour guides were very informative and easy to understand. We spent probably 1 1/2 hours at Altun Ha (hard to remember from 6 months ago), and were able to climb to the top of one of the structures. Then, obviously, it was about a 1 hour ride back (slept most of the way back). It seems like the tour started at 9:00, and we were back by about 12:30.

According to my freestyle daily, the last tender back to the Sea left at 4:30. As I'm not a snorkeler, I don't know if that would allow you to get to a snorkel site and have enough time -- hopefully you can tell. We did enjoy the shopping in Belize. We stayed inside the Tourist Village, but there was quite a few shops with some interesting items. We were probably back on the Sea by about 2:30.
