Well we made it to the weekend. One more day of work although they asked me to work tomorrow. We will see how things jingle out today.

And the Red Sox are still in it. They played well last night. So a Saturday night game in Boston.

Everyone have a great day.

Today is a sad day for me. :( The plant I moved across the country last November to work at is closing today. Very sad and depressing. This is the second plant this year. I have to wait it out a few more weeks for severance and bonus. Then I am ready to start new.

Ahoy Judy and Afters. A BIG TGIF back at ya. I so wanted to not come in to work today, LOL...just wanted to roll over and go back to bed this morning. But, I made it.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend...our plans are still iffy so we will take it as it comes. I am sure dinner out somewhere will be in the picture ;) Later....

John is finally off oncall so Sunday since there is no Packer game, bye week, will do some more Christmas shopping and go to the bank.

Everyone have a great weekend,I will check in sometime next week.

Good morning all..

CJ...so sorry about your job situation. It's a shame. I hope something good comes your way, and things get better for you.

Got a lot to do today, so I'm off and running...at least the sun is out now :)

Have a good weekend all!!

Korinalacount, Betty Crocker came out with a splendid cookbook:Living with Cancer, and it has different categories for some of the problems folks face, including nausea, mouth sores, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, etc. some of the nausea recipes include biscuits, cakes, soups, citrus drinks and deserts, rice pudding, potatoe dishes, breads, chicken dishes, pastas. I found rice to be very soothing to my tummy, plus peppermint tea, 7UP, mashed potatoes with a little gravy, macaroni & cheese, pretzels and gingersnaps. Apples seemed to be refreshing as well. You can also find lots of anti-nausea info on most cancer web sites that have diet/menu suggestions.

Besides the prescribed medications, I found Melatonin to help me sleep sometimes.
Hugs, Mariposa
