Hello again. We will be on the Grand Princess for Thanksgiving - actually, we will be in Cairo, Egypt. Does Princess have a Thanksgiving dinner? I know it's only an American holiday - not sure if they would.

They should have a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner along with just about anything else you want to eat.

We did the Star a few years back over Thanksgiving. It was great, they had the full traditional dinner, plus new things we tried. And it was great, no cooking or clean up. Enjoy.

Since hubby & I live so far away from our families (1,000 miles from mine and 2,000 miles from his) we don't get to spend Thanksgiving with them. So, going away is a good thing. In 2007 we took the kids (then 12 & 14 - my step daughters) to the Carribbean around Easter. They lobby was all decked out with decorations and even a photo op w/ an Easter Bunny. One year I would like to take a cruise around Christmas time. I bet that's nice.

All cruise ships have a turkey dinner entree once per week. That is a given. They most likely make it extra special on Thanksgiving Day.

Just ask the Matri di to make sure you get a special turkey dinner on that day. They will do it just for you if necessary. Luci

We were on the Grand on Thanksgiving '08. They had a huge Thanksgiving display in the Grand Lobby with all types of foods etc. The evening meal had the traditional turkey and dressing. We enjoyed the ship, the cruise and the entire experience. Have fun.
