Mary Ann, the first time we went to Alaska we stopped in Vancouver, and I believe the hotel  just across the little cross walk is the Pan Pacific? We were waiting for some friends to pick us up for a day in Vancouver, and while standing there we saw a dog at the front entrance, greeting everyone who walked up. Many people seemed to know him. Do you know if he is/was a resident dog???
