The End - Question

After our cruise, we will have a lovely mini vacation planned at Knotts Berry Farm, but we would be needing to get a shuttle to pick us up from the port and will need to figure out times.

We've never been cruising and would like to know how long it takes to get completely off the ship as well as getting our luggage?

We'll be on the Mariner of the Seas, arriving in the San Pedro port (that's the Los Angeles harbor right?) at 7am on July 26th. If it varies by deck, we'll be on deck 8.

Thanks for your help!

Normally, ships don't debark guests by deck. Either before or during your cruise, you'll be identifying your time and means of departure. These are sorted and arranged to ensure that those with the earliest flights or trains are off first and those who liveing the area, are staying overnight or are driving on their own are off last. Kinda makes sense. Anyway, you'll be given luggage tags, These are in different colors and number combinations (i.e. - Red 3, Blue 9, Brown 2, etc.). Debarkation will be by color/number. There is no order, You listen for your color/number and leave the ship when it's called. Debarkation will begin around 7:30 and be done by 9:00.

If you don't have a flight to catch, you will be one of the last off the ship. USUALLY the last off the ship are around 10:30 to 11:00am.

We'll be taking a shuttle actually and it picks us up at a specific time.

The shuttles we've been looking at will pick us up between 8:30-9:30 depending the company.
