MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:

This summer there will be nine MSC Cruises ships sailing the waters of the Mare Nostrum - the Mediterranean Sea. From March to November there will be a total of 44 ports of call allowing guests to discover the cities and amazing countryside. You'll find places where you can admire classical and modern art, sandy and pebbly beaches and islands rich in scenic bays and lush vegetation. From Genoa, to Livorno, Civitavecchia, Naples, Salerno, Palermo, Messina, Catania, Venice, Trieste, Ancona and Bari: discover exciting locations and experience dream holidays. Seven nights in the Eastern Mediterranean

The newest addition to the fleet - MSC Poesia - will be ready to receive travellers for her seven-night cruises to Greece, Turkey and Croatia. Departing from Venice every Saturday and Bari every Sunday from 19 April to 8 November, calling into Katakolon, Izmir, Istanbul and Dubrovnik.

MSC Musica will depart from Venice every Sunday and Bari every Monday from 16 March to 5 October, calling into Katakolon, Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Corfu and Dubrovnik.

MSC Opera will depart from Trieste every Monday and Ancona every Tuesday from 22 September to 3 November, calling into Athens, Sparta, Corfu and Dubrovnik.

But that's not all

For those looking to indulge in longer cruises, MSC Armonia will offer 12 days and 11 nights in the Mediterranean as she leaves Genoa on 1 and 12 April, 26 September and 7 and 29 October, calling into Naples and Piraeus. After transiting the Bosporus and the Dardanelles, the ship will proceed to Yalta, Odessa and Istanbul before heading back to Italy to call into to Messina, Salerno and Genoa. On 18 October and 9 November MSC Armonia will depart from Genoa, calling into Naples, Catania, Katakolon, Rhodes, Limassol, Alexandria, Heraklion and Civitavecchia.

Seven nights in the Western Mediterranean

On board MSC Orchestra you can choose one of the most beautiful itineraries in the Western Mediterranean. Depart from Genoa, calling into Naples, Palermo, Tunis, Palma (Majorca), Barcelona and Marseille. These cruises will start 30 March and run through to 26 October.

Alternatively, MSC Sinfonia will depart from Civitavecchia on Sundays and Genoa on Mondays, calling into Monte Carlo, Valencia, Valletta (Malta) and Tunis. Departures will start 31 March and run through 13 October.

MSC Melody will cruise from Italy, to Monte Carlo, Spain and Tunisia. She will depart from Messina Thursday, from Naples every Friday and from Livorno every Saturday from 9 May to 19 September. Ports of call include Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Ibiza and Tunis.

MSC Rhapsody will sail from Genoa every Saturday from 22 March to 18 October, calling into Livorno, Salerno, Catania, Valletta, Tunis and Olbia. Passengers can disembark in Livorno, Salerno or Catania.

Finally MSC Lirica will also depart from Genoa every Saturday and from Civitavecchia Friday from 20 September to 8 November, calling into Marseille, Valencia, Tangiers and Malaga.
