I wanted to create a thread dedicated exclusively to the Carnival Legend. I know that there are similar thread on other Boards but didn't see one here(I apologize if I missed it.) Anything to do with the Legend is welcome here....Past trips, honest reviews, upcoming voyages, and anything else you can think of...

A brief history...My wife and I will be sailing on the Legend 12/12/02. It will be the 5th cruise between us. I sailed the Fascination in 1994 and she sailed on Disney in 10/2000. We were then married aboard the Grand Princess on Jan. 1, 2002. The Legend trip will be an anniversary celebration.

So there ya have it. I will be sure to post my review of this ship and the S. Caribbean itinerary when I return. Until then, fill up these boards!!!

Hey Mack,

I to am booked on the Legend for April 2003. There will be 4 of us traveling together and we have two cabins in the aft of the ship with extended balcony. We are so looking forward to this, only 135 days to go. I have sailed on the Legend's sister ship the Pride and she was amazing so I can just imagine what the Legend will be like.

Please take lots of pics to post in the photo gallery. Happy sailing!

Hi,
your pics are awesome...we are debating to book again with carnival on the legend...our first 2 cruise were carnival, then we switched to royal carribbean for many cruises along with the new princess ships.we love both these lines. Now we here so much about the new carnival, but are relunctunt to try it...but I dont want to be missing out on something :) any thoughts?

I would give Carnival another try...They have really improved and you won't be disappointed. I also loved the Princess ships. My wife and I were married on the Grand Princess last New Year's.

The Legend would be a great choice(I will be sailing her in 3 weeks), and I am also setting up a group cruise on the Soon-to-be-Brand New Carnival Glory of 9/03.

No matter which you choose, you'll have a great time!

Hey Mack,
I'm one of the people that Mike was referring to. Sailing out of NYC to the Carribbean 5/13/03. I also started the similar thread on the Cruise Critc Board. Ain't life a blast!
Have a great trip and write us a nice long detailed review when you return, so we can survive until May! This will be my first cruise and I can't wait!!! Have a great trip! :)

Hi Mack. Both of you will like the Legend. I sailed on the Pride last Month. (Sister ship to both the Legend and the Spirit). I'll be on the Legend Sept. 10, 2003 out of NY. This will be my 6th cruise with Carnival.

291 Days to the Legend.

Hi Mack and all the soon-2-b Legend cruisers.
My hubby and I will be sailing on 5/13/03 - with Nu Cruzer & her mom, with Mike &
Liz, and with Barb and her friend Penny.
We live in Harrisburg, Pa and we are sure to meet with Mike & Liz sometime before
our cruise date.
This will be our 12th cruise with Carnival. It all started on the Tropicale in 1994
and the addiction remains alive.
Please give us a review of your cruise when you get back.
Have a wonderful cruise on the Legend.
Seabreez Pat

Hi all,

Thanks for the information. I'm sailing for the very first time aboard the Legend on Jan 5/03. I'm travelling with another male friend (seperate cabins) and am wondering if single people can have as much fun cruising? I understand that the odds are in my favour but I also understand that many of the single women aboard cruises are older then 40. I know I'm going to have a great time regardless but am just wondering what everyone thinks.

Thanks,

Dan from Toronto

Hi there! John and I are right above your cabin on the Legend! (Got an email from Kuki). I am usually on the cruise critic site, but Kuki has been kind enough to get in touch with a lot of us!
Can't wait! And keep the noise down lol!
See you soon! This will be our 5th Carnival cruise, but our 1st suite, yippee!
