Another interesting thing I learned from a cruise director is: IF any crew member (cabin steward or waiter) has had their auto tips removed, they are called into the purser's office and questioned as to WHY, what they did WRONG, to warrant having passengers remove their tips??? So unfair for them to be blamed/questioned for something they had no control over. Don't you agree?
