OK, one of my clients has asked a question I'm not sure about but I'm sure somebody out there will know.

They're sailing on the Conquest next week and my client asked what an appropriate gratuity for the staff of Camp Carnival should be. His boys are 11 and 13. I have never had kids in a kids program so I am not sure. Anybody have any ideas =huh

Thanks in advance :thumb

I tipped $40.00 when I was on the Legend, only because my child was young and they changed diapers. Otherwise I don't think it would be required.

Tipping is not required for the staff. I think your client needs to wait to see how much time is spent in the camps. Both the kids are in different camps.
I would bet the 11 year old spends more time in the camp then the older one.

Make sure your client knows about the first meeting on the first night. Especially for the 13 year old. Early dinner will help.

If the counselors spend real quality time with the kids and adds to the enjoyment of the kids vacation then tip what you think is worth it.

Having spent a few times each crew with camp counselors to gain knowledge on how it works.. Very few people do tip for camp.
Depending on how many kids are onboard the kids might have 2-3 counselors at any time.

Hey Michael!
Remember me???? LOL

I hope you are doing well.

When Dwight and i went on Glory last year with Angelina, she was 5, and we tipped 20 bucks, because they were really good with her, and we appreciated them.
I dont know if it was necessary or not, but that is what we did.
