When you have your food delivered to your room, who delivers it, and do you tip at that time and how much would tip?

Sometimes it is a food service person and sometime it is a cabin steward, not necessarily your own. It is appropriate to tip at time of delivery even if it is your own steward. Usually $1-2 unless it is a full meal.

Thank you, I have never requested room service. So if it would be a dinner meal would $5.00 be enough?

Well, I dunno about others (I suspect I soon will) but I think $5 is a little much for a room service tip... unless you've made several special requests. I believe a $3 tip is more than enough.

I think 2-3 dollars per persons meal is fine for a snack or for a dinner. I

I disagree with bOB. If it is your room steward, you do not tip at that time. That should factor in to what you tip your room steward at the end of the cruise.

I give a dollar or two depending on how much they are carrying up to the room.

I too give a buck or 2 for coffee in the morning. If I order a complete dinner would tip 5 as we tend to eat a lot. LOL
