to aft or not to aft

That is the question!!! We are still trying to make the all important decision about what type of stateroom to book. Our TA is really PUSHING the aft cabins with the HUGE balconies. Should we or shouldn't we? What does everyone think? BTW our cruise is Sept/04 to the medi.

I just got done sailing on the Century, and had a room as far "aft" as one could get, along the back side of the ship. I loved it. There were a few times where I could feel some vibrations, as well as a bit of noise, but the larger room was well worth it!

Have had aft cabins on the Millennium and the Summit - no question, I'd go for it!

Biggest balcony’s on the ship. Loved it. They are tiered so you have to be careful about waling out in the morning in your boxers.

As we are on the Celebrity board here I will give you my take. The Horizon and Zenith... rooms are same as all others on board and I have been told there is quite a bit of engine noise in the lower decks. (And not just from the use of thrusters when docking) The millie class I have experienced no negatives myself and heard of none either. So all things being equal in costs....go for them.
