How exciting for you! We always book our cruises at least a year in advance! I get excited when I just think about booking a cruise...and once I do I pretty much count the months, weeks and days! We will be on the Valor in April of '06 and can't wait. So, NOOO, it's never too early to be excited about an upcoming cruise!

i was so excited to see the date of you upcoming cruise. i am not able to go untill the very same time on the carnival spirit to the 8 day mexican riviera cruise. it is good to know that others are planning so far ahead as i am. it is going to be a long 16 months untill the cruise but it will get here eventually. i hope you get some responses too your post. it is fun to hear from others who will be on the same ship.

We are not the OP but do have a cruise booked for January '07 which we booked as individuals.
WHY? It is on a ship we love with a good itinerary AND the price was VERY right! (lol) By booking so early we had a great cabin selection as well!
It would be interesting to hear the opinions of others who sometime "book early".

Serene56... we booked as a group. is there any reason why you are asking?? Good, bad or ugly!! Like I said this is our first cruise and plan on going again after this one! So if there is anything you would like to tell me, I am interested in anything you have to say! Have a great day!

We usually book at least a year in advance because we normally go as a group and we like having cabins next to each other. The earlier you book, the better cabin selections you have, especially when you need either a triple or a quad cabin.
