My husband and I are going on our first cruise, Glory 18 Oct. I have read that there is a topless deck or pool onboard. Does anyone have any info on this? Where is it? Is it a pool or just a deck?

I think all Carnival Ships have a topless deck which I believe is just a deck - no pool. I think it is behind the funnel.

On all Carnival ships the small deck area around the base of the funnel is designated as " tops optional ". There is no pool. Keep in mind that to use this area does not mean you have to be topless, simply that if you want to off with the top, you can. So, there will normally be people there with tops and without tops. No big deal one way or the other.

I was on the Triumph in May and we spent almost every day out on the topless deck. It is the deck that surrounds the funnel. I kept my top on but some others in our group took theirs off. I found the people up there to be the most entertaining and fun crowd on the boat. There was one guy that got totally nude but the staff were on him right away to cover up south of the border!
