On all Carnival ships the small deck area around the base of the funnel is designated as " tops optional ". There is no pool. Keep in mind that to use this area does not mean you have to be topless, simply that if you want to off with the top, you can. So, there will normally be people there with tops and without tops. No big deal one way or the other.Sometimes we find it a good place to just rest and get some peace and quite.
