We had one of the best excursions we've had on any cruise we've been on at Grand Cayman. She wouldn't be able to do this without you (unless you have a group that she can share with)........or for future reference, but we took a Jeep excursion. It was absolutely wonderful! We went in a caravan of other folks from the cruise ship, but we all drove our own Jeep. The leader was the tour guide in the first Jeep and the following Jeeps (about 6 more) were us, and 5 other people who also booked this excursion. They took us driving all along the coast of Cayman. We stopped at a Rum factory, a store, then atop a beautiful cliff where there was volcanic rock and spectacular views where I got beautiful camera shots of the water, cliffs and the rocks. From there we drove more along the coast and then to a beautiful beach where we got to spend a good 3 hours in crystal clear water which was warm as bath water. It was truly a slice of heaven! It also made for one of my all-time best excursions I've ever done in all of the Caribbean. Who knows? Maybe you'd prefer this over scuba diving? Your lovely wife would love it!Have a great time. (P.S. I would never opt to stay on the ship when going to Cayman).
