Can anyone give me the average price for shore tours? Can I get info before I board ship?

I do not think there is a good average price as the excursions run fro 25 through 150 or more depending on what you do. I was able to get pricing for Carnival excursions by e-mailing them. They would not fax them to me for some reason. I do not have any experience with other cruise lines on this though.

On the Royal Caribbean website you can book shore excursions some months in advance, payment by credit card. The link is on the left hand side of the RCI webpage, on the menu. I believe it will soon be the same on Princess.

Carnival faxed me a list of excursions for my April cruise although you can not book ahead. Some islands are easy to do on your own. You can tell us what you like to do and where you are going and we might be able to help you out.

Hi Darlene, going on the AOS on Aug. 17 to the Southern Caribbean. Going to Antigua, Barbados, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Marteen, St. Thomas. We will be 5 adults and 3 children. (14,12,10). As of now, thinking about a Godfrey tour for St. Thomas, swim with dolphins in Antigua (don't know who to use for that) and looking for a tour for St. Lucia. Heard about Gideon tour, but can't get his e-mail address. We are not into snorkeling. Barbados, we were thinking of getting a van off the dock for a tour. Any ideas on what else to do on the islands would be appreciated and any rec. for tour guides would also be appreciated. thanks for your help. we are all excited about going on this cruise.

We,re doing the same southern tour in Oct. Let's have all the skinny on the shore excursions when you are back. Really need all the help I can get, and it will be greatly appreciated.
