France was the one port where we were actually contemplating going to Mont St Michelle. Paris in one day seemed too rushed, even though we have not been there. We too are going to be in England a few days before departure but probably in the Canterbury/Dover area. Our honeymoon 20 years ago was to England and Scotland which we did on our own staying in B&Bs and using a rental car.Most of the other ports we expect to do on our own.
