Hi Catwomanly,We were on the Constellation for the trans Atlantic cruise last Sept. We had a great group from the cruise critic group, some 160 people if memory serves. Had a wonderful cruise on a great ship. We spent a couple of days at the Churchill Hotel in Dover and can recommend it with confidence. If you leave by the front entrance you are two blocks from the city center, and if you are on the other side of the hotel you can watch the Constellation sail into port if you can get up early enough. Nice little pub type lounge adjacent to the registration desk, and a nice English breakfast embarkation day. You may need some help making arrangements to get to Dover, it's a long way, and without cruise transfers can take some research.For D&J- the Dublin port call was changed to Belfast last year due to the draft required by the Connie. We docked across the harbor from the city in Belfast but they had a shuttle into the city. Nice scenic ride and we spent a nice afternoon in the city.Peter
