What a wonderful time !!!!!
Precruise Stay.........Holiday Inn Marina Park.....it is a great location, directly across the street from th Bayside Marketplace. Lots to do........Hotel is nice.
Embarkation....We had a 49 passenger bus from Ambassador Limo pick the 28 of us up at the hotel at 10:30 we were on the ship at 12:15......absolutely painless.......My sons and I (ages 15 and 10) were updraded from a 8A to and 8D..balcony cabin on the Lido deck..great location............
Entertainment...........John Heald and staff were the best cruise staff I have ever seen. I never laughed so much in my life............Too bad he is retiring. Those of you sailing in the next couple of months on the Triumph are in for a treat. Do not miss the Welcome Aboard show or the Passenger Talent show. The singers were OK...the dancers very good. The casino did not pay off to me but it did t m Mom.......$450
Food............I ate beakfast in the diing room and in Southbeach, very good. Lunch was always on the Lido Deck. Dinner always in he dining room.........we had late seating in the Paris. Food was good, but sometimes rushed. Waiter entertainement was great...
SeaDays,,,,,,,,, If you want a chair where all the action is.....(Continent Pool be out there by 10AM.
Ports.......San Juan......they can eliminate this stop...........
St. Thomas.....did the Atlantis Submarine in the morning and the St. John and Tunk Bay Snorkel Tour..........you can do St. John on your own........much cheaper..........
St. Martin........went to Everytngs Cool, swam in the water for 4 hours and did some shopping.......
Disembarkation.....it went very slowly...had to get off before our tags were called as we would have never made our flights............it was a made house int he parkng lot..........but we got on our reserved bus and we we at the airporti inno time.
Overall.......a wonderful cruise, I am sufering frm PCD and I am researching our next cruise adventure
