Hi, We went to Tulum from the Monarch of the Seas in Jan. 02. We booked the tour thru the ship. Our cost was about $74 per person. I think was the best way, because it requires a ferry ride from the dock to Playa del Carmen, a half hour ride, and then a one hour ride to by bus to the ruins. We had a wonderful guided tour and then return by bus. RCI provided a box lunch. The tour took up most of the day, but we had enough time to do some shopping at the duty free shops at the dock. Hope Carnival offeres the same. We will be sailing on the Partadise on 12-14 too. Hope you enjoy it !!!
