The problem is that you would have to take a ferry from Cozumel to the mainland city of Playa del Carmen and then rent a car or find someone to take you. Maybe someone has done it can give more advice, but it seems more diifcult than a regular day trip.I would recommend renting a car and going around Cozumel to see San Gervasio ruins which aren't as good as Tulum, but still enjoyable and then go snorkleing. You could also just go snorkeling or see if anyone knows how easy it is to take the ferry and find a car. The ferry should only take 1 hour each way at most and then getting a car there, I don't know about that.Jenn
