Sad but not unusual.
If one thinks of a ship as a small town of around 3000 people (and some carry a lot more these days) and the age bracket of a longer voyage it sometimes just happens.

It does happen all the time. I've actually witnessed several people "drop dead" in front of me...usually dancing. They must have a large freezer just for that purpose. Usually heart attacks.

What?? You're serious? I guess that's the way I'd want to go if I had to...

Sure I'm serious...I mean, after all, you put a couple thousand people (many over 60) on a trip where they eat and eat, and do things outside their normal routine, some of them with pre-existing conditions...and you do the math.

Like you said, we all gotta go sometime...what not while dancing with your wife and being happy? Much worse things could happen!!

Maybe RCCL had just informed them of the fuel surcharge of $5 per day.
Some people will do anything not to pay a bill.
