Underwater Camera?

We went to Cozumel and Belize in March and went snorkling for the first time, we took pictures with a kodak disposable. I took the pictures to a local camera shot and had them developed twice and the colors still came out mostly blue. I understand that light loses a lot of color underwater because it has to travel through water. But in two weeks we are going to St. Thomas on the CP and we will be going snorkling again, I REALLY want some pretty pictures without spending a forture. Does anyone have any suggestions for a camera under $100?

I used the same camera and had them put on a Kodak disc. The disk has a program on it which you can use to improve the pictures drastically. You can also use any photo program on your computer and make changes to the pictures to make them look like you were using a good camera.

Mine always turn out with the same blue look. Didn't know you could clean them up. Thanks, Howard. :thumb
