Update on Mister "Grins when women stop by"

OK, Well Oscar is doing quite well. He figured out the TV. Has had team of PT and OT stop by and make plans for tomorrow and onward. Both female and so he was smiling from all the attention.

He no longer needs the Morphine, just using Vicadine on a 4 hr span. It took 7 trys for someone to finally draw blood for admission. All women of course. He just smiled sweetly at each one when they ask if he would let them try. He will be SO SPOILED when he comes home.

Of course his grin may change when they begin therapy tomorrow :whistle:

So I'm off to bed. Thanks again for all the great support. :thankyou:

Sounds like he is in the right place! Hope he does well in therapy. He might not think so kindly of them the first few days!

Thanks guys. the therapy is not like normal, his will only be upper body maintance to prevent him going down hill. His legs don't work anymore, so just keeping the hips loose is all that will be done in the lower parts.

Yes, if his LE don't work, you have to keep your upper body strength, And get therapy to do all you can do with your UE. Go Oscar!!!!!!!!!!! Get with the program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear that he seems to be coming along ok. I bet you are right in that he may not have so many smiles when PT gets done with him.
