Update on my friend's triplets

The little boy, weighing in at 2 pounds 10 ounces was taken off of the ventilator today, and seems to be doing OK. The last e-mail I had said that the little girls are "struggling". Both weigh in at less than 2 pounds. Mom is doing as well as can be expected, and will probably be dishcarged by Thursday. Prayers for all of them. Leaving a baby behind is tough....three would be heart breaking. Especially with their delicate conditions.

Glad the boy is doing so well & hope the girls take a positive turn soon. I know the difficulty of leaving a baby at the hospital as I had to leave my 10 1/2 pounder for a wk! Dr offered to write orders for me to stay an extra day or so but I had a 2 & 4 yr old at home. Keep us updated.
