Update on the triplets

I told my friend that I had asked some "virtual friends" to pray for them, and she sends her thanks. She told me today that she was feeling better and just trying her best to put it all in God's hands.

They were quite conservative with the invitro. They implanted two embryos with hopes that one would take. Well, they both took, and one of them split, so the girls are actually identical twins.

Keep the prayers coming - I think today was a better day!

Hello Cycofan,

Tell them I send my prayers too. I have high expectations for those three little ones. When my little grandson, Julian was born so early, everyone here prayed for him, and the result was nearly miraculous.

Julian was due October 6, but born June 24. Starting at 2 pounds one ounce, but losing down to one pound 6 ounces. His thighs were barely as thick as my little finger. Nothing seemed right, and I honestly didn't think a baby 15 weeks early could make it.

He had heart and lung abnormalities. He was on the ventilator for many weeks. And on oxygen and a cardiac monitor over half a year. They worried that he'd be blind for months. And cognitive function was in doubt all along.

The tests and procedures that little guy went through seem near torture, and were actually so, for his folks. And the doctors would never make any promises.

But today he's four and a a half, and happy, healthy, and smart at a whip. And other than a tendency to catch colds, perfectly normal. The power of prayer, combined with today's medical technology, can be absolutely amazing.

I'll be praying they have an equally wonderful outcome.
