Yahh!! Just checked Princess's Cruise Personalizer and saw that we had received an upgrade. :jump Although its still an inside cabin, we went from a cat. K to a cat. I so we'll be a little closer to the pools! :party

Had to share the good news with someone!

Anyone else been blessed by the fairy lately:?

just returned from the Grand Princess! We were upgraded to a Penthouse suite! Super service and each day a special surprise ( choc strawberrys, cavier, flowers etc) Room stewart left alot to be desired but what a room! Thanks Princess!!!!

We had a catageory I and it was upgraded to an F. Went from an inside cabin on the Golden Princess to one with a window, but an obstructed view. I suppose it is better than no sunlight?

I just check the Princess Personalizer and went from BF to BC Baja deck.

Congrats to all of you that received a visit by the upgrade fairy! We actually turned down an upgrade. Going from a BB to a BA. We thought it was great until we learned that our new room was under a bar area on the top deck. Thought we might be hearing bar stools sliding around, so we kept the room we had!

We originally booked a BB for our 1-18-03 Golden cruise. Have since been upgraded to an AC, and now an AB. If we can get only two more, we'll be in a real suite! That's about as likely as getting snow here in Ohio in August.

I just wondered, did you who received upgrades book specific cabins or just a general category?
(and by the way, we're going on the dawn princess 3/10/03 also for my big 40 birthday)

I had booked a specific cabin this time, however, on the last cruise I got an upgrade by booking a guarantee. Generally, they say that a guarantee is more likely to get an upgrade!
