Florida governor is saying companies cannot require people to prove vaccines, Texas governor also, now ncl says they may pull there ships ? I am totally all for allowing only vaccinated passengers on cruises, this is a requirement for our July celebrity cruise. What are your thoughts?

there are also other options to preventing someone to board a ship, and cruise lines in an effort to protect their employees and the passengers/customers boarding their ships need to implement everything within their means to meet that goal.
If cruise lines cave then their interests are not in their customers best interest only theirs

There are a lot of things in this world of everyday life that is easily fixed, unfortunately stupidity is not one of them. I absolutely like vaccination passports. If you do everything right, why should you be penalized? Private companies should be able to do what they want regarding cruising, coming into my restaurant, my store, whatever.....
if proof of vaccination is not required and vaccination is not mandatory I will cancel our October cruise

Our governor is really not for the people. And I have read a few times that he can say that as much as he wants but since the cruise lines are private companies they have every right to state that passengers need to be vaccinated and there is actually nothing that he can do to stop them.
The good thing is the fully vaccinated might test positive but they aren't dying like flies.....
And as far as vac cards go that was poorly thought out or not thought out at all. The fake ones are even openly being promoted online. when we got our first shot we were given a blank card with the brand, lot number and date of vaccination sticker on it and told to fill out the top with name and date of birth, I asked about the patient/IIS number and the nurse said OH you don't need that. Just had to bring it back with us for the second shot, they put another sticker on it. I have it on my phone, a paper copy with my ID

I do not understand, why if you are vacinated you are afraid of those who choose not to put an unknown objject into their bodies, .and the fact is 2 vacinated passaengers disrubted a cruise to Alaska, they continue to test positive, be hospitalized . Seems like the unvaxed should fear the vaxinated, why not test everbody and be done and stop treated the unvacinated as second class citizens

My personal feelings are that I have the right to decide what kind of environment i put myself into and choose those that surround me especially if it is going to affect my life in some way, like dying. You as well have the right to make equal decisions, like not caring about how your decisions affect those you come in contact with.

Looks like vaccinated people in Israel and England are still coming down with COVID.
Because they are coming in contact with people that are not vaccinated ...............
Vaccination is not a cure all only a preventive until everyone is vaccinated so if you choose not to be vaccinated ,cool just respect those that do and and stay to oneself. Not rocket science just common sense and respect.

You are right. You can do what you want. And private entities like cruise lines/stores/restaurants/whoever can set the rules for their environment. And I also see the people who chose not to be vaccinated, 99 per cent are getting very ill - and some dying. They made their decision, and now they have to live with it, or maybe not. I wish you all the best and good health.
