Valor vs Glory

We are looking at booking our 2nd cruise with Carnival.

This time we are sailing out of Miami. There are 2 ships with the same island stops and I am wondering if one of the ships is better than the other.

They are the Carnival Valor and the Carnival Glory.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

They are the same class of ship so thier layouts are identical. Either one would be fine!! Good luck with your planning and welcome to Cruise-Addicts!!! :spyglass:

Both ships belong to the Conquest class. The Conquest was built in 2002, the Glory in 2003 and the Valor in 2004. Other than the interior theme, the ships are the same. Choose the one that works best for you.

I've been on both these ships and they are both great....I think you'll have a great time on either ship! I did hear that the Valor is going into dry dock the beginning of next year. I am booked on the Valor in April 2011. Happy Cruising!

I have also been on both...and I vote for the Valor...

We are booked for the Carnival Glory, 7 Day Exotic Eastern Caribbean for this November. We chose the Glory because of her past / present ratings and the cruise itinerary. Dave & Diane....
