I didnt much care for the cruise director, but she wasnt awful either. Something about her voice just rubbed pretty much everyone in our group the wrong way. I cant really be more specific, she just wasnt our cup of tea so to speak.
I'll give some tidbits:
In Rosies, be sure to check out all the buffet stations, not all of them had the same food during lunch. For breakfast, try the omelet station.
At St. Thomas, if you need to get off the ship quickly, get in line for immigration right when you dock or even before if you can. The line was HUGE by the time we went down. Luckily the line does move quickly so if you do end up at the back of the line, dont worry too much.
The Bronx and main Lobby bars served the best drinks IMO.(if you like your drinks strong, and assuming the same bartenders are there)
The refrig in the rooms are locked when you board. We asked our steward and he gladly unlocked it and removed some of the items so we could put some water that we had brought on board in.
Like most cruises, the prices in the on board stores did drop by the end of the week on most items.
The Piano bar was generally the most active spot most late nights.
The whirlpool in the spa area was far less crowded than the ones on deck. It's also indoors, which can be a positive or a negative.
I told someone on another thread, but there are some less crowded walkways on decks 6,7,9, and 10 at the very front of the ship if you want to get away from some of the crowds. Just walk through the passenger cabin hallways all the way to the front of the ship to an unmarked door.
If you want to go to Marigot on St. Martin you might want to go in the morning. As we were heading back to Phillipsburg from there at around 1pm there was a HUGE traffic line going towards Marigot. There is only one main road to there I guess, and our taxi said it was common for it to be backed up like that. St. Martin also had the best prices to shop at by a decent amount. The shopping in Marigot isnt nearly as cheap as Phillipsburg, but they have some more European style shops there with stuff you may not find at Phillipsburg.
The late night adult comedians were funny. The 80s show and the last night show were the best.
Just a few random thoughts. Just writing this makes me miss the ship...........................
