Hi again everybody!

I’m back again with some more questions which I hope some of you can answer. This is our first time on a cruise ship, so please understand some dumb/useless questions. Btw. we are going on the Jewel of the Seas.

1. Is the power in the outlet 220v when sailing in Europe?
2. How many power outlets are there in a “regular†outside cabin with balcony?
3. Is there any movie on-demand service on the TV? (travelling with an infant it might be early nights)
4. Does the TV show ships current position (GPS)? (I’m a geek so this is just for fun)
5. Is there a price list for SPA treatments available?
6. Is there a price list for drinks etc. available? (Just to get an approx about how large budget we should have)
7. As I have read, food is included in the cruise price, does this include room service?

Thanks for any help answering my questions!

1) I don't recall seeing any 220 outlets. Nonetheless, the 110 will be available no mater where the ship goes.
2) A normal cabin has two. One in the bathroom for charging shavers and one in the cabin. Most people bring a power strip and some bring an extension cord.
3) I believe that there is, but since I don't use it I don't recall for sure (the problem is, some cruise lines do offer it and some don't and I don't really recall what Royal Caribbean offers). There will be free movies offered also (all cruise lines offer some free movies and I do watch a few).
4) Yes. This is from the Navigator of the Seas in August 2004, but it is still available ...

These might not be the best examples because: 1) I had to take the picture at an angle because of the glare from the flash and 2) The picture was taken at the end of the cruise while the ship was docked in Miami. But it does show what is available.

5) Yes. You can get it on board the ship or there might be a price list available online (though someone else will have to point you to it).

6) Same answer as number five.

7) The food brought to you by room service is included. However, the person bringing you the food will expect a tip. So keep a few one and two dollar bills handy if you intend to order room service.

There is a 50 hertz, 220 VAC outlet on the dresser.....alongside the 60 hertz 120 Volt ones. Also the outlet in the bathroom is dual voiltage. All ships have both voltages available all the time.
