HI can anyone tell me about the veendam that has been on her in the last few weeks?????is holland america going down hill due to the take over. this is are 1st hol. cruise. also this is are 6th cruise. are we doing wrong by going holland this time. thank you

Due to what takeover?? HAL has been owned by Carnival for over TEN years?

Are you confusing w/ Carnival's plans to buy Princess?

Sailed on the veendam in January. It was a great trip. She is a great lady.

We loved the Veendam when we were on her in December of 2001, and we have heard nothing but good reports from people getting off recently. They have desserts to die for, and the crew and staff are wonderful.
