Can anyone tell me if the balconies ...Category 11's on the sensation are private balconies? I will be in room V15.....

Or is it open at the top????????????????

Anyone gonna be with me January 21st?

i just posted photos in the post below asking about what deck to pick.
people can not see into your balcony from above-- they can see in from the side.

thanks for answering, serene.

I am trying to decide if i made a right choice......in rooms.

Several years ago my maiden voyage so to speak, was on the Fantasy, but i was in the cat 12 Upper deck

I hope i am not up too high. Do u think there is more movement up there on the verandah deck? I will have meds with me anyway.

I am just looking for information...pros and cons.

Denise, We were on the Verandah dexk on the Sensation last year. We found no difference in the higher cabins as far as movement of the ship. We were in interior cabins all the way forward. According to many people, that would be the worst place to be, but we were perfectly happy. And you can walk a few steps forward, and be on a wonderful front observation deck. You walk a few stepr aft, and you come out looking down on the pool area! PERFECT place to be! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Denise- you are on a ship- how bad can it be.
Leaving on SUnday--im soo jealous. I sitll have 5 weeks to wait.
Sensation was my first cruise and still my favorite. Maybe because it was the start of my expensive hobby. Heading out on #9 next month.

When we were on the Sensation in 2005, we had V26. If your cabin # is too high then you risk the obstructed view (lifeboats) and if it is too low then you have the risk of people on the forward deck seeing in your window. With V15 you should be fine, and the balconys are separated with a devider, if you lean over the railing you can look into the balcony next to you. You got a good cabin. Hope this helps...

Hi Denise,

Your first cruise! How exciting! It looks like there is a pool on your deck...it's all the way at the aft of the ship. There's also the Lido deck pool just one deck below you, and that's a little more in the middle of the ship.

Have a great time!!!
