Walking to the WWII Museum in New Orleans

We will be in New Orleans in 2 weeks and definitely want to visit the WWII Museum. I did find that it is 1.3 miles from the cruise Port, but was wondering if there are taxis available to take you there (as I use a walker to get around). I know I could probably be use Uber, but am very very unfamiliar with this and at my age am "technologically challenged". Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Uber is totally great , I would definitely get it . Good luck , I also wo love to see that museum, we meet the founder wife.

Taxi's are available but make sure you are on a metre. Got taken last month by a cabbie.
