I wonder if this is real. I found far too many family memebers who are apparently owed money.

My deceased Mother in law
My husband's deceased Uncle Henry
My neice April
Brother in law Jim
Brother in law David
Deceased cousin Mary
Cousin Tony
Cousin Becky
Cousin Richard
Deceased Aunt Nancy
Cousin Rene
Cousin Richard
Aunt Pauline
My Uncle Jerry
My sister in law's dad
and my Other sister in law's dad

Either it's a scam, or as a whole my family is very poor at keeping track of their money :grin

This is supposedly a real organization. I have had these in the past where they told you there was money, but you had to pay to get the info.

This was free. When you type in the address info, the next page tells you how much there is.

When I clicked on my state, it came up with a message
from the state treasurer.

Gayle, $1 in a forgotten savings account would qualify probably as unclaimed dollars! Did you get a total for everyone? Might be worth knocking them all off!

Hi GloBug, No, I didn't find out what they are owed, since I'm not the one who can claim the money. Although, my husband can possibly claim for his uncle, as hubby was the executor of that estate.

Still it would clearly not be worth the effort. That listing states the amount is less than one hundred dollars. Meanwhile the estate was divided between eleven people. That means the amount would be 9 dollars or less each. Not worth the effort to claim, and send to everyone.

I e-mailed the cousins and in-laws. I'll be curious to see if any of them collect.
