Going out the 20th on Conquest. Want to buy a Tag Heuer dive watch or something like it. Which Port will offer the best prices and where should I shop. Thanks, Steve

and your ports are???!!..:grin..different islands have better prices..=welcome to cruise @ddicts..post often and go to the community board with detailed info seeking questions also and you'll get lot's of answers..

Check the prices at home so you can compare. I don't know where you are going but, St. Thomas is known for jewelry prices. If you are doing Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel you may be out of luck. Grand Cayman is known for diving so they might have the watch but, prices on things like t shirts are high so, I don't know about watches. You could check Coz. Forget Jamiaca.

Cozumel is your only option because Grand Cayman will be expensive. If you plan on using it, Cozumel is after Grand Cayman so it won't do you much good. I don't recall any shops selling that type of watch but I wasn't looking for one either. I am traveling to St. Maarten where I'm told has some of the best (inexpensive) shopping. I'll look around then.

My boyfriend bought a Tag Hauer in Cayman in September. He did some comparision shopping and found it there (Kirk Jewelers) for $700 less than anywhere else.
I enjoyed the experience we had shopping there and felt like they really valued our business. We had just come in from snorkeling and we were sun burned in our flipflops/bathing suits and had sand everywhere! I was worried that we'd get snubbed, but not so! The salesperson treated us with respect and kindess and patiently spent almost an hour with Chris while he tried on different watches, some over and over again while he tried to make his decision. She was very helpful in giving info about each one and explaining the different series, etc. They had a very nice, big selection.
