Good morning everyone. Havn't posted in this forum before, so here goes.

Yesterday as we're travelling along in our motorhome, we wanted to stop for the night at a place with cable so we could watch Monday Night Football (yeah Packers!).

We got everything set up and were concerned when there were only 12 channels available on the TV, but asked and they assured us we would be able to get the game.

Well we couldn't. It was broadcast on ESPN and that wasn't one of the 12 channels! So I tried to watch it on my laptop. Signed up for a service (sopcast) that said I could watch games on my computer. Well I couldn't figure out how to make it work! I spent $20 and a couple of hours, all the while listening to the game on my computer.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? And if so, how do I go about it? Keep in mind I'm not very computer literate, so the easier the better!

Thanks in advance, Terry

Terry, I wish I knew the answer. It can be done, but I'm sure it's complicated. I tried it once too, when I was out of town, with no luck.

I do know that you can watch some shows right from their website. Like CBS, ABC, etc.

For instance, you can watch a show after it airs right from the website.

As for the games, I don't know. Sorry...

Dont know either Terry but what a game! We were there and half the stadium was Packers, they said it was one of the Broncos first sold out of the season, all due to us! It was wild at the end,Packers everywhere high fiving each other and Doncos telling us cheeseheads to go home. Favre was great! Got some great pictures!

I don't know either. All I know is I can watch tv shows on my desktop but when I tried watching them on the laptop I had trouble. It would play for a while & then lock up. I also tried downloading Netflix's free movies on the laptop and it seemed there wasn't enough memory.

Don't ask me anything about memory, sizes or any other tech stuff because I don' know nuttin'.
