We lost Eddie last night

We are very sad to tell you all that we put Eddie down last night. He was acting a little off yesterday, and collapsed last night, we took him to the ER clinic. They discovered that he had several masses and the one on his spleen ruptured. He was too unstable for surgery. Mike & I are obviously very saddened and Molly was searching the house last night and this morning for him. We know that we gave him the best that we could and will miss him.

OMG! How absolutely terribile. As a canine handler and l-o-n-g time dog person, my heart goes out to all three of you guys (Molly included). It certainly sounds as though it was quick. But that doesn't make it any less poignant.

How sad. I am always heartbroken to hear that one of our own has lost their furbaby. Cherish the happy memories and know that you would not have missed one moment of that time together just to save the sorrow you feel right now....the tears are the interest that you pay for the unconditional love you shared with Eddie!!
