Although we have never sailed on the Noordam, we have sailed on quite a few other HAL ships and have eaten numerous times in the Pinnacle Grill. We feel it is well worth the $30 per person.

I think its always worth trying the specialty restaurants. I ate at the Pinnacle and really enjoyed it.

We recently got back from a Noordam cruise and had to try out the Pinnacle (my husband and I both are culinary school grads and professors :). A fine dining experience. My husband ordered a porterhouse steak that could have fed an impoverished nation :). First class dining experience all the way .... incredible entrees and creative desserts. Try it at least once during your cruise for the experience. Incidently, we were "cruise newbies" as well with this being our first cruise........we are sold on the whole cruise experience!

I always get either the lamb chops or the petite filet. The Northwest Clam Chowder -- so goooood. And then the Chocolate Volcano Cake -- heaven to me.

We have enjoyed three dinners in Noordam's Pinnacle and one lunch and each and every of those meals was outstanding. Excellent. First rate service and wonderful dining experience in all ways. I almost never eat red meat and am insistent the few times I have it that it be superb as I won't waste my rare treat on an inferior serving. The filet mignon in Noordam's Pinnacle is as good as I have ever had anywhere. I also enjoyed a delicious chicken dish there. I hope if you try Pinnacle, your experience will be as good as ours.
