Hot..........and warm at night. I t should be great if you like the sun. We went down last year mid April and the temps ranged from 85 to 95. We where on a southern Caribbean trip for ten days so it does depend on what isalnds you are visiting. We went to the western 2 years ago in Feb and the temps where right around 80 to 85 everyday.
HOT is right! The rainy season starts in May and gets wetter going into June and July. But in May the rain storms don't last long, maybe an hour at the most. Just make sure you drink a lot of water, It's easy to get dehydrated.
