Well, we returned to the old grind today - got off the Voyager of the Seas yesterday.

Had a wonderful time - huge , beautiful ship. Crew was very friendly and helpful - plenty to do - we didn't even get to do everything we wanted to (guess we'll just have to go again!)

Spring break was certainly a busy time - lots of teenager age kids - which can be a bother (playing on elevators and stairs and such) - but not any real problems.

Our son (age 28) wished there had been more outside deck parties and such at night - most activities at night are in the clubs.

Went to Cayman (loved it as always), Cozumel and Jamaica (yuck - not my personal favorite at all).

Had cabin 9220 with balcony - rooms are nice size and the ship is usually steady - noticed no rocking at all - even when we went thru rainy spell.

We slept with the balcony door open every night - loved that!

Overall - it was a great cruise and we will sail it again!

Glad you enjoyed Voyager Of The Seas. As I posted a while back, Linda (MDW) and I did the 15 Day Trans Atlantic Nov 28, 2008 Barcelona to Galveston. We returned to sail again Feb 1, 2009 on the same ports of call you experienced. Linda was on Carnival Conquest the same week you were on Voyager. The daughter, husband, 2 teenage boys and their 21 yoa daughter, husband and new baby asked Linda to cruise with them. They paid her ticket and Linda was the Nanny to the great granddaughter. Said the Conquest was packed with spring breakers. Like VOTS, most of the night activities was in the different clubs, bars and theaters also. They saw the VOTS of course since the two ships are docked one in front of the other.

Did you take in the Karaoke? Flashy, aka: Jamie is a good friend of ours as a result of cruising VOTS and singing in The Talent Show and Super Karaoke Show. Got the trophies, medallions and a big bag of Royal Caribbean gear for winning. They were so great to me and they make it a ton of fun. =docdance

Are you considering the Nov 29, 2009 Voyager 14 Day Trans Atlantic from Barcelona to Galveston?
