I booked this cruise last April and it will be my 8th overall and third with HAL. I've been trying so hard not to get excited, too soon, that the date is nearly here and I forgot to read up on Cruise Addicts until now! My wife and I have tried all sorts of ways to spend a vacation and we agree that cruising is the best. We've been on the Zuiderdam before and understand that the Westerdam is almost identical. Anyone been on both before? So far, the Veendam is our favorite HAL ship. Anyone want to second that? If you're on the Westerdam sailing 1/6/08 (this Sunday), see you onboard!
