My wife & I, our daughter & her husband, and my wife's Mother are booked on the Westerdam leaving Ft Lauderdale on April 1, 2007 on a Transatlantic cruise to Rome, Italy.
My mother-in-law has cruised many times, mostly with HAL, but this is the first cruise for the rest of us.
My mother-in-law and her husband had this cruise booked a couple of years ago but had to cancel out when he got ill and eventually died. She's been reluctant to travel since then so we talked her into this cruise by all of us agreeing to go as well.
It should be an "interesting" trip...LOL
