Wife and I are taking our third cruise, and our first on RCL on Voyager of the Seas. OUr two previous were on Carnival Paradise - Eastern Caribbean and Carnival Destiny - Southern Caribbean. This will be our first time on a Western route. We are stopping at: Labadee, Haiti; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Ochos Rio, Jamaica, and Cozumel. Any suggestion on what to do while in any of these ports? We're looking at Soto's Stingray Charter while in Grand Cayman, but not sure if they are good or to go with Ship's excursions. We like to do some shopping and some sightseeing in each port if we can. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also any major differences that we should expect between Carnival and RCL?

Well, the main difference would be the ship. The voyager class ships are fabulous and I know you'll love Voyager of the Seas.

My Picks

Stingray City in Grand Cayman (Make sure to buy some Tortuga Rum Cake too)

Wave Runners in Labadee

Snorkeling in Cozumel

Rafting the Martha Brae in Jamaica

This is one of my favorite itineararies. We did the exact same thing on Navigator of the Seas a couple of years ago.

=funsign on Voyager of the Seas!

Dunns River Falls and Margaritaville are always High on the list of things to do in Jamaica. Xcaret Eco Park or Chankanaab Nat Park are 2 VERY nice stops while in Cozumel. Here are a couple links to that might assist U. :thumb

Thanks to both of you for responding. Will check out those links Einstein, and I can see you are an insightful man. Margaritas are the only way to go. Brought back memories of Carlos and Charlies as I read your reply.

I second Panchos Backyard. =clap They are wonderful! When in Cayman, check out Capt Marvin's Stingray city tour. They are reasonable, and reliable. Here is a link; <http://www.captainmarvins.com/>
