Western Caribbean - Zuiderdam

I know it's not until August, but it's for my birthday so I want everything to run smoothly... These are the excursions I am thinking of: Halfmoon Cay: horseback riding by land and sea; Grand Cayman: Highlights of Grand Cayman or just snorkelling and rum cakes; Costa Maya: Chaccoben ruins; Key West: exploration and snorkelling. Any comments/suggestions?

Also, where in Costa Maya does the ship dock?

Oh, and another one... Which hotels in Fort Lauderdale have a view of the cruise ships?

Thanks!

My suggestion for Grand Cayman is to book a private tour with Nativeway or one of the other reputable providers. Our tour with them included a wonderful stop to feed the stingrays, followed by two snorkeling stops. They then dropped us off at Sea Grape Beach where we had lunch and enjoyed the beach. The driver returned at our specified time to take us back to the shopping area near the ship. Although there were plenty of other cabs available if you wanted to be flexible. We shopped a little to top off a great day. The tender lines are LONG in Grand Cayman, so allow plenty of time for that.

My daughter and her friend went parasailing in Key West which was really fun. There was plenty of time left afterward for sightseeing and shopping.

Definitely do the horse back riding in Half Moon Cay, and also the jet ski's. Too much fun! take time to lay on the beach too, its beautiful and get a pina colada in a pineapple from the waiter that comes into the ocean with your drink! Have fun! Tell Hunky Dory on the ship that Jennifer and Ronay said hello! You'll find out who he is, dont worry!
