Yes a few times but not recently.  Its a bit of a hike to Canada place but a short taxi. Its near the water but mostly boat/marina area.  Several good restaurants in the area.  A Well known and liked hotel.  Short hike into Stanley park and bikes for rent up across  Georgia St on Denman.    If you are happy with the cost you will be happy with the hotel and area.
