They tried to use only the Rockies sales office computers, no phone sales, only computer sales. Within one hour they had over 8 million hits and the computers crashed. What a mess. Then everyone went down to the Box Office and they still haven't said how these tickets would be sold. They have had one news conference but still waiting for the answer. For crying out loud they waited too long....The Red Sox sold their tickets beginning the 12th of October.

I guess they are new to this.......never been this far in the playoffs. The Red Sox didn't have this problem and held a lottery and then phone sales.

Tonight they still don't have answers........They will be rioting in the streets soon. :lol :lol

Here is a link to the story. Unreal. Something had better give soon the Rockies should have had these tickets on sale over a week ago. The first game here is Saturday night for crying out loud. The Red Sox did a presale even before they knew they were in the World Series.

The fans are really upset. So many of them feel that they supported the team when they were winning all of these years and that they should have been given first shot at the tickets or at least a good percentage of the tickets.

Well, enjoy the ticket mess - - We Indians could have taken care of it! lol

Our team acted like they had never seen a ballgame the last two games.

Hey Donna the Boston Red Sox had no problems either! :grin They sold tickets on October 12th. I could not believe the mess here. I think if the Rockies ever get this far again they will have to take a page from the books of other teams who have done this before.

I really think the Indians looked very good at the beginning of the series. Boston looked terrible they held back their best pitchers until the last games. But I think both teams were tired also, and that is the one thing that worries me about the Sox coming into the World Series.

Of course the mo jo of the Rockies having 8 days off may also play into it..
